During Pride Month, Reverend Cynthia Alice Anderson and State Representative Rita Harris hosted a vibrant evening celebrating Pride. Guests gathered at a fabulous venue to share or paint their Pride stories while enjoying delicious food courtesy of Anna’s Empanadas by Chef Joemar, who served his popular Puerto Rican Rice. Attendees sipped their favorite drinks and listened to powerful stories of support, empowerment, and triumph from members of Orlando’s LGBTQ+ community.
The open mic began at 7 pm, welcoming brave members of the audience to take the stage and Speak with Pride. Those who preferred not to perform had the option to Paint Your Pride at a dedicated table, with artwork displayed in the Beacon Health office or kept by the artists.
Ticket options included:
VIP Ticket ($250): Best seating for 5 people, a special dessert, buffet food, drinks, and Beacon merchandise.
Table Ticket ($100): Better seating for 5 people, buffet food, and Beacon merchandise.
Mingle Seating ($25): One regular seat at a table with other mingle ticket holders, buffet food, and Pride buttons.
Tickets were sold in advance, with prices increasing at the door on the day of the event.
